Back in the Seventies and Eighties, the garden at Pete's address in Sleaps Hyde Stevenage, became famous for the controversy surrounding the fact that this was one of the first domestic Wildlife Gardens attached to Council property.
Here, we share everything about it with you, including the Council protest, and the worldwide backing Pete recieved, even from famous gardening and wildlife experts, plus the letter he received addressed to 'Wildlife Garden, Stevenage'... a note from the local post office (in blue) was added (see below)
