WOULD YOU CLEAR UP YOUR KIDS MESS?

Then why would God?

A few years back, I was talking to a member of my family (one who does not wish to have anything to do with me since I got together with Nikki), about the environment.

I argued that if we don't clean up our act with pollution etc., then Mankind and all life on Earth would perish.

This person is a Christian, and announced 'God will get us out of this mess because he loves us...'

Really?' I challenged him. 'You see God as The Father don't you?'

'Of course,' He stated proudly.

'Well,' I told him. I am a father too, - and if my kids make a mess in their bedroom, - I won't clear it up for them, - because it is up to them to clear up their own mess.

They need to learn to to take responsibilty for their own actions, - not expect other people to clean up after them - and the same applies to The Human Race.

WE CAN'T EXPECT GOD TO CLEAN UP OUR MESS FOR US ALL THE TIME!' 

TOO MANY PEOPLE, WHO PROFESS TO BE RELIGIOUS,  ARE ACTUALLY RATHER SELFISH - THEY PRAY TO THEIR GOD TO HELP THEM - RATHER THAT TAKING RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEMSELVES AND GETTING ON WITH IT!

Now whether you believe in God or not is irrelevent.

Some people believe that superior aliens will come to Earth and put things right for us, - but that is just wishful thinking I'm afraid, - IT IS UP TO EVERY ONE OF US TO PUT OUR HOUSE, THE PLANET EARTH, IN ORDER, - AND THAT DOESN'T ONLY MEAN CLEANING UP THE DAMAGE WE HAVE DONE TO THIS PLANET EARTH, - OUR ONLY HOME IN THE UNIVERSE, - BUT ALSO IN THE REALISATION THAT NOTHING IS EVER SOLVED BY FIGHTING.

As I have already said, - there are still people who will not talk to me or Nikki because they think that we have done something wrong

(FALLING IN LOVE)

- BUT THE TRUTH IS, THAT, UNTIL WE CAN STOP ALL OUR PETTY SQUABBLING, THE CHANCES OF SECURING TRUE PEACE ON EARTH WILL NEVER HAPPEN!

THE KEY IS THIS: ACCEPT EVERYONE FOR WHO THEY ARE. NO MATTER ABOUT COLOUR, CREED, RELIGION, NATIONALITY, SEXUAL ORIENTATION OR WEALTH.

WHILST WE ALLOW PETTY GOSSIP AND HATRED TO RULE OUR LIVES, WE WILL NEVER THROW OFF OUR NEANDERTHAL ROOTS!

WE ARE ALL HUMAN BEINGS, AND, LIKE IT OR NOT, WE ALL HAVE TO LIVE TOGETHER...

LET'S TURN THE WHOLE WORLD INTO ONE BIG FAMILY.

THE BRUTAL, AGGRESSIVE, COMPETITIVE TRAITS THAT BINDS HOMO SAPIENS FIRMLY TO THE CAVEMAN

British boxer Dereck Chisora was involved in a bloody brawl with rival UK fighter David Haye on 19th February 2012.

Chisora lost to Ukrainian Vitali Klitschko on a points decision in a heavyweight title fight, and the fracas happened at the post-bout press conference.

Boxing pundits and promoters said that 'It brought the honourable sport of boxing into disrepute'!

HONOURABLE? BOXING? The sport where two grown men beat the crap out of each other?  

WHAT IS HONOURABLE ABOUT THAT?

It is precisely this sort of 'sport' that prevents Mankind from throwing off the shackles of the Neanderthal-like caveman, and evolving into the caring, spiritual beings that we call HOMO SUPERIOR...

Boxing, which was originally a way for poor, deprived young men without skills to earn money, is just one of the competitive, aggressive traits that prevent human beings from evolving into truly spiritual beings. 

Indeed, all competitive sport, from football to motor and horse racing is rooted deeply in our savage past, as indeed, is our apparent need to wage war.

They are all a part of our tribal instincts, dating back tens of thousands of years.

Just look at our politicians, posturing at the despatch box, baiting each other like tom cats before a fight over their territory, or over the right to mate with a female - AND THESE ARE THE PEOPLE WHO ARE SUPPOSED TO BE OUR LEADERS!

WATCH THEM NEXT TIME YOU SEE CAMERON AND MILLIBAND ON TV, AND YOU'LL REALISE THAT THEY ARE SIMPLY CAVEMEN IN SUITS...

SO WHAT HOPE HAVE WE OF EVER EVOLVING INTO PEACEFUL, UNDERSTANDING, SPIRITUAL BEINGS?
