WELCOME TO THE CRAZY WORLD OF PETE'S CHILDREN'S BOOKS...

Well, when we say 'Children's books' we really mean books for the young at heart. It turns out that the 'Tales of Widgeripoo' series, 'The Secret of Bedside Manor' and 'The Saints In Paradise' are read more by adults with a quirky sense of humour, than they are by children.

Our friend and colleague RICH SMYTH is creating a website dedicated to TALES OF WIDGERIPOO, which will feature a whole series of animated Widgeripoo Adventures, but in the meantime, we thought we would celebrate early, with this special feature...

Above is Tick-Tock, running across the page and waving to you, from the 'Tales of Widgeripoo' series. and on the left, is the Wotwozzee trying to control some Uncontrallable Habits, whilst a swarm of Squanderbugs fly past.

Now sit back and enjoy some of these other animations taken from Pete's crazy stories...

Above, from Left to Right, are a Pink Irrelevant, an Uncontrollable Habit springing from one Spring Flower to another, and The Antidote, all from the 'Widgeripoo' series of books, whilst below are animations of characters from 'The Secret of Bedside Manor'.

From left to right: The Little Green Dragon, Count Stackular, who changes into a bat, - and finally, Pete's endearing characters, The Polaroid Bears, who not only feature in 'Tales of Widgeripoo', but also in Pete and Aitch's Christmas musical, 'Carol & The Christmas Toys', - and they even have their own song, written by Pete in 1969!
