AT OFFLEY

Pete, Dorothy and Vivien spent two and a half happy years at Great Offley, Hertfordshire, where Pete was Garden Steward at Offley Place Residential College, and Deborah was born there...

Offley was also the place where Pete made his mark on the horticultural world, growing unusual plants in the greenhouse and in the grounds, and attracting the attention of the horticultural and local press....

Above was from The 'Hitchin Pictorial' and 'Garden News'

Vivien did some modelling whilst they lived there...

The results appeared on Birthday cards and chocolate boxes.

But her career was cut short when they moved to Blackpool in March 1967
